Good luck to the Cyprus Agile and Innovation community

The Cyprus Agile and Innovation community is a new non-profit community which aims to bring together professionals of the IT industry to brainstorm and share their agile experience. It’s a free meetup group, open for anyone that wishes to learn more about agile. I’m supporting the meetup with free ebooks and discount vouchers.

Cyprus Agile and Innovation Community

When Konstantinos Kareklas (who attended an in-house workshop given by me) contacted me and told me about the Cyprus Agile and Innovation community that he is kicking off, I was pleased and happy to hear that. Over the years I’ve seen the value that local communities can bring. They provide places for people to share experiences and learn. Fun and safe environments to connect and collaborate, and do awesome things together.

The benefits that I have seen that professionals get from attending communities are immense. That is why I advise clients and teams that I work with to join communities and attend their events like meetups, conferences, company visits, and product and book launches.

Supporting the kick-off

The kick-off meeting of the Cyprus Agile and Innovation community is on December 14 in Limassol, Cyprus. I’m supporting the event:

I’m offering free copies of my first book Getting Value out of Agile Retrospectives to the attendees of the Cyprus Agile and Innovation kick-off . And there’s a discount voucher to download my second book What Drives Quality, which was released September 2017.

All attendees will get a free ebook copy of the newly released Greek edition Αποκομίζοντας αξία από τα Agile Retrospectives. This is a brand new ebook which will be released in December. It’s a translation of my first book done by an agile team of professionals from Greek agile communities.

I’m wishing the Cyprus Agile and Innovation community all the best, good luck traveling your agile journey!

Sharing my Experience

I’m sharing my knowledge and experience with communities by attending and speaking at their events, doing mini-workshops, and giving away books to participants of meetups. If you are starting a new community or running an existing one, feel free to contact me.

Hopefully, we’ll see each other at a future event of this agile community or at one of the other agile communities around the world. It would be my pleasure to help and support you.
