SPIder, The Dutch Software Process Improvement network organizes a conference on the 7th of December, on “Bigger products with smaller teams“. If you manage software development, or work in process or quality improvement, this is the event for you!
From the SPIder conference announcement: “Miscellaneous products contain more functionality, much of which is realized by software. On the other hand we see that the megalomaniac software projects no longer exist, organizations are increasingly working in small teams. These trends require different approaches to software development. At this conference we would like to learn from other disciplines, we also invite speakers who are not engaged in software development, but where there are clear parallels.”
Since SPIder is the local SPIN (associated with the Software Engineering Institute), this event will be in Dutch. Presentations will be shared on the SPIder website. Presentations of previous conferences are also available, several of them are available in English like last years presentations on Software Management by the numbers, Software Quality Certification, how projects benefit from a full requirements life cycle, Managing Quality in Programs, Agile IT in outsourcing, and my presentation on SPI, the Agile way!
Tickets are still available for the conference. If you are a supporting member of SPIder (donateur), entrance is free of charge!
